Emily – you goof! You mixed up this picture of Vimeo founder and notorious asshat Jakob Lodwick with any/every picture you found on LATFH! He repulses me on an intimate level, but I am being a SERIOUS JOURNALIST here and so I have determined that he is, empirically, more attractive than Chad Hurley. But I still want to stand far away from him at a bar and roll my eyes in his general direction.

11. Michael Breidenbruecker – Last.fm

“Oh hey, girl. I didn’t see you there. I screen printed us matching t-shirts to wear to the Warpaint concert tomorrow. What? You have shin splints from last night’s intramural soccer game? I’ll go get you some Pinkberry.”

10. Jawed Karim – Youtube

Your mom might describe this Twin Cities native as “such a nice young man!” He still owns and wears cargo pants from 10th grade but in a totally so-unhip-it’s-endearing way.

9. Dennis Crowley – Foursquare

OMG. Dennis Crowley is a SER bro. He’s a Pro-Bro. He just wants to get his ex gnar gnar on and create a supersecret badge you can only get if you check into the North Pole. Note: There are other pictures where he has a certain boyish charm a la our own Jay Gabler.

8. Matt Mullenweg – WordPress

I think I like Matt Mullenweg because he looks like the happy-go-lucky bass player in a My Morning Jacket tribute band. Also, I feel like anyone who is such a big open source advocate has to have a political/philosophical viewpoint I can get down with. HAWT.

7. Tom Anderson – Myspace

It’s sheer familiarity that gets Tom Anderson a spot this high on my extremely prestigious list. Tom is everyone’s friend! If you ever feel internet-low, you can visit your years dormant Myspace account knowing Tom will always be there with his signature “oh, hi friend” half-turn wave. He missed the number six spot due to the prevalence of pictures I found of him wearing trucker hats.
